I’m Yehor, a Java Software Developer with a passion for AI and deep love of all things fantasy. Whether I’m crafting elegant code, exploring the possibilities of artificial intelligence, or diving into a new fantasy novel, I’m always seeking out new adventures and challenges.
In this blog, I’ll be sharing my experiences and insights on everything from development tips to AI breakthroughs, all sprinkled with a healthy dose of fantasy inspiration.
Developer background
I thrive on the creative problem-solving that comes with Java development. There’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of turning lines of code into functional, beautiful applications for me.
I have worked in 2 major banks in Ukraine, helping them build their mobile banking apps. My main focus is investments sector (I helped to build the first in Ukraine military bonds purchasing/selling feature, making over 1 billion UAH in bonds sales by bank in the first several months from launch), but I also have experience in other fintech areas.
AI
I’m fascinated by the potential of AI to change the world. I love experimenting with new AI tools and techniques, always on the lookout for ways to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
I am a PhD student in computer science with focus on AI, have several published articles, building AI systems with swarm intelligence and deep reinforcement learning.
Why Dragons?
When I’m not coding or exploring AI, you’ll probably find me immersed in a one of many fantasy worlds. From classic novels to RPGs, I love stories that transport me to magical realms and epic adventures.
